Frequently asked questions

Clear expectations.
Before you commit.

Scope, delivery, specialist support and the next step.

What is fractional OHS leadership?

It is an agreed allocation of senior safety leadership capacity without a full-time appointment. Your scope can include advisory calls, management coaching, document review and monthly action follow-up. It does not create unlimited availability or emergency coverage.

How does it differ from a full-time hire?

Fractional support suits a defined leadership gap, a smaller operation or a targeted period of change. A full-time role may be more appropriate when daily site presence, direct line management or continuous coverage is required. We discuss the capacity your operation needs before proposing support.

Can support be delivered remotely?

Yes. Document reviews, leadership advisory and some assurance work can be delivered remotely. Field verification and site-based assignments require agreed access, travel and operating arrangements. Remote review findings remain limited to the evidence available.

How quickly can an engagement start?

Start and completion dates depend on availability, scope and access to information. We confirm a realistic timeline in your proposal. Tell us your deadline when you enquire.

What does a review deliver?

The scope identifies the documents, hazards or contractor submissions to be reviewed. Typical outputs include prioritized findings, evidence gaps and an action register or findings discussion. A review does not certify compliance or replace management responsibility.

What does an owner’s representative do day to day?

Depending on the mandate, work can include reviewing contractor readiness, examining critical controls, joining coordination meetings, escalating gaps and tracking agreed actions through construction, commissioning and handover. Authority and reporting lines are defined by the owner in the scope.

How are independent consultants involved?

Where an assignment needs specialist capacity, independent consultants may participate on behalf of Safety Centrics under agreed arrangements. Your proposal identifies the engagement lead, participating specialists and their responsibilities.

What will it cost?

We provide a scoped proposal based on deliverables, capacity and duration. Canadian clients receive CAD quotes and international clients receive USD quotes. The proposal states applicable taxes, travel, expenses, revision allowances and payment terms. Additional work requires agreement.

How do we pay for posters and learning materials?

We first agree your brief, written quote and payment terms. Request an invoice or payment instructions referencing that quote. Do not make a payment before scope and amount are confirmed. Printing and shipping are outside the digital deliverables unless expressly agreed.

Can we request a 15-minute conversation?

Yes. Submit the contact form and include a preferred time and time zone, or email or call us directly. We confirm a time with you. The website does not reserve a calendar slot automatically.
